# System Requirements

Umbraco Engage has the following requirements:

* Umbraco version 13
* SQL Server 2014+, LocalDB, or Azure SQL.
  * **SQL CE & SQLite are not supported.**

It is recommended to upgrade your Umbraco installation to the latest version of Umbraco 13.

Umbraco Engage is compatible with Umbraco Cloud (Standard, Professional and Enterprise plan).

If you want to run an Umbraco Cloud site locally, point the connection string to a (local) SQL Server database. SQLite is not supported.

Umbraco Deploy is currently not supported for the Umbraco Engage features.
